made to carry all sizes of matches including 
standard kitchen matches (holds up to 20 
strike-on-the-box matches), NATO lifeboat 
(holds up to 16) and extended lengthmatches 
sold by REI (holds up to 12).  The dual striker 
design allows for the use of safety matches, 
strike-anywhere matches or a combination of 
the two. 

The O-ring keeps the matches and the red 
phosphorus(strike-on-the-box) striker dry.  
Measures 3.14" (80mm) long, external 
diameter 0.90 inches (23mm), internal diameter 
0.59". Throat tapers to 0.78" (20mm) at base.

Caution: Do not overfill the MatchCap.  Leave 
approximately 1/4" (6.35mm) of the volume empty.  
When using the phosphorus striker on the top of the 
Match Cap, it is advisable to strike from the top 
(opening) towards the O-ring.  This will prevent 
any stray sparks from entering the inside of the 
MatchCap.
